3. Connect your YouTube channel to your streaming software

Next, you’ll need to connect your YouTube channel to your streaming software. To do this, you’ll need to find your streaming key in your YouTube channel settings. Here’s how:

Go to your YouTube channel and click on the gear icon in the top right corner
Select “Creator Studio”
Click on the “Live streaming” tab on the left side of the screen
Click on the “Stream” tab
Click on the “Show” button next to the “Stream key” field
Copy the stream key that appears

Then, in your streaming software, you’ll need to paste the stream key into the appropriate field. Consult the documentation for your specific software to find out how to do this.

4. Set up your stream

Now it’s time to set up your stream. In your streaming software, you’ll need to do the following:

Set up the source for your video and audio. This could be a webcam and microphone that you have connected to your computer, or it could be a device such as a digital camera or a game console.
Once you have chosen your video and audio source, you can add any overlays or alerts that you want to include in your stream. Overlays are graphical elements that are displayed on top of your video, such as a logo or a banner. Alerts are notifications that pop up on screen during your stream, such as a donation alert or a subscriber notification.
