In your downloaded files, open up the widget folder.

  1. Click the Widget Quick Setup link to begin installing this widget.
  2. If you’d like, choose “Create Widget Theme” and name it something appropriate such as package name or click “Add” to add it to an existing collection. The import link will only override your “Custom Widget”. This means you can combine this custom widget with any other widgets you’ve made in Streamlabs.
  3. Select “Use” for the profile you want to import into.
  4. Navigate to https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/customwidget and copy your unique URL.
  5. Paste this URL as a “Browser Source” in your streaming software.

Once you’ve added this into your streaming software test the widget to make sure it’s working properly.

Width and Height of Source

We generally recommend setting the size to 920 wide and 320 tall, however, depending on your stream adjusting the size here may work better for you.

Choosing Social Icons

Font Awesome

Whether you’re using Streamlabs or StreamElements, customizing your social media icons is easy. Find the icon field you wish to edit. You will notice it’s not an image, but text. This is because The icons in this widget are created using an open source font called “Font Awesome”. This allows you to select from a massive icon library for whatever social media or items you want to promote.

  1. Visit https://fontawesome.com/icons
  2. Search for any icon in the search bar
  3. Click on it to reveal the required text. For example a Twitter icon will use “fa-twitter” as show in the example here.
  4. Copy and paste that text into the icon field in Streamlabs or StreamElements.
  5. Change the color to suit
  6. Click Save
