Crusader – Stream Package

Crusader Overlay Pack
A fantasy driven, magical overlay design aimed at the gamers who enjoy deep story lines as well as MOBA action. This animated alert pack allows you to change the colors of icons, options for different base colors as well as fire color. You can also change the font and text to anything you like. If you’re streaming to an audience other than English, you can! You can change the text field templates to suit.

Just installed the whole package and I think it’s a great package! Nice job 🙂
I noticed one thing though, and it’s not a problem I fixed it myself, but by default the latest follower doesn’t show the latest follower but the most recent donator in the support bars.
It is incredible – I love the subtleness of the entire thing. The customization options are massive and will leave you with a very stylish overlay.
The alerts have different sound effects that are great as they aren’t too overwhelming. The consistency in the alerts designs are very nice as well.
The default alerts are the ones without the gold back plate – if you want to use the gold you will need to upload them to each individual alert in Streamlabs.
What does it lack?
Supporter bar customization
The ‘supporter’ bars are missing a ‘latest follower’ in the 4 column – I think it would have been better if they had been individual pieces that you could put together as you saw fit. I solved this by cropping the 3 column so I could get the ‘latest follower’ in however.
They have also supplied blank versions of each of the supporter bars so you CAN customize with a bit of OBS savy.
No event list
Unfortunately you don’t get an event list in this pack – you can however purchase the “EventPop” event list, and modify it to fit the theme of Crusader, with the corresponding icons. It’s an extra 8 $ if you don’t own it already. (https://nerdordie.com/product/eventpop-custom-eventlist/). I would have liked it if the event list was included.
This theme fits my stream very nicely, and I have SO many ideas for using the incredible customization options that are available!
Game kNight
I just downloaded this overlay, and installed it in SLOBS and OBS studio. I found the stinger sounds to run flawlessly in OBS studio and very glitchy in SLOBS. I also found the 16:9 camera border does not match a camera set to 1920×1080. Its a little more work to setup in OBS Studio, but the time spent will be well worth it. I find SLOBS to be glitchy in some areas such as camera resolution and sync. When I compare two streams done in both programs OBS Studio is the clear winner.
Great starter pack for a beginning streamer, highly recommend. May take some advanced knowledge to know how to work in recent followers and subscribers etc. The pack easily imports to both SLOBS and OBS (I use OBS) flawlessly. Stingers, notifications, and sounds work in sync with no issues or lag. I personally use this pack with a mix of my own designed items for livestreams on YouTube as well as normal videos I post regularly.
I’ve been using this overlay pack for a long time now, the only thing it’s missing is an Offline screen
I like the style…but dislike the support bars being so Tipper Heavy.
I for one could care less about displaying who tipped…i care more about latest follower or longest sub or Top and Latest Cheerer than Tips….which seems to be A) the majority of the support bars And B) labeled wrong in presets.
shame too, since this seems to not have been updated at all since i got it back in ’19.
